We live in hope because we know that with the Resurrection we are not left to the fear of death and sorrow. We have the hope of eternal life and we know that we are not left in the lives we once had. But now rather, we are filled with possibilities for a greater day. A better us.

We need each other. Sometimes we prefer to be alone, and need to be alone. But there are times we need others in our lives to be a help and offer love and friendship. We are individuals but we are interconnected. “No man is an island” we hear. And that is indeed true.

The risk for us is also not being aware of when good things come into our lives, things we would normally be very thankful for. This then comes down to gratitude. And there is an equally great risk with gratitude. The gamble with gratitude is becoming happy and satisfied with what we have. We may change the way we see life and the way we spend time.
